I dont post these things too often... but...

TONIGHT in NYC. Verdi's Requiem, set for BRASS QUINTET, solo woodwind, and rhythm section.
...like you've never heard it. Now entitled "The Enchanted Messa"

This is put on by one of my main projects, the band GATO LOCO.

Wow, Joe, that really is a "Day of Wrath!"

If Ellington/Strayhorn could do it for Grieg and Tchaikovsky, why not Verdi?

This may seem petty, but shouldn't the loud tuba low notes be shifted to beats 2 and 4 in an effort to better replicate solo the bass drum (?). Just a thought.
