Hi Folks,

The Pokorny Low Brass Seminar is July 5 - 9 at the University of Redlands. The faculty are Gene Pokorny, Sergio Carolino, Randy hawes, Tim Higgins, Michale Mulcahy, Scott Sutherland and Andrew Glendening. The week is an intense and fun week of low brass playing in sunny Southern California.

We are accepting applications for performers and auditors for the Seminar and applications for the high school program. For more information go to:

We hope to see you in Redlands!

Andrew Glendening, Dean (and trombone professor!)

The concert programs won't go up until June. The daily sessions normally start at 8 am with group warm-ups and run through the entire day.

Is it true that students of the university can attend for free? I'll be a freshman at the University this upcoming 2016 fall semester.

Kevin - Yes, University of Redlands students get to attend tuition free. We usually pick one section to perform. This is a really great part of being a Redlands student!

And - yes, Gene brings the York. Spending a week in the presence of all of the great low brass sounds is truly inspiring.
