World Premiere of John Stevens-Five Muses (with stream)

Post by AHynds »

Hello, everyone!

On Saturday, March 26th, at 8:00 PM, I'll be giving the world premiere of two new works for tuba, including John Stevens' Five Muses for tuba and piano and Elise Roy's Digestion of Memory for tuba and fixed media. I will also be giving the premiere of a newly-modernized version of Morton Subotnick's The First Dream of Light, originally recorded by Roger Bobo. To make it even more exciting, John Stevens will be in attendance! John is going to be in residence during that weekend, and will be attending the premiere of his newest work. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, March 26th, 8:00 PM
Location: Bryan Recital Hall, in the Moore Musical Arts Center at Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, OH)

Program

Five Muses - John Stevens
Digestion of Memory - Elise Roy
The First Dream of Light - Morton Subotnick

The show will be live streamed at the following channel: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/tUVHne6KnFk

Only 4 days away now! And I have just set up a stream for the performance--simply go to this UStream channel at 8:00 PM EST, and you should be able to watch the recital live!
