Oystein Baadsvik and Dave Werden in Minnesota

Oystein Baadsvik and Dave Werden will be joined by the Minnesota Brass for a concert at King of Kings Church in Woodbury, MN on October 16, 2016. More details will follow.

As an update, tickets go on sale, August 1st. They are available at

Oystein will be playing New Kid, Vivaldi's Winter, Fnuge Blue, Gabrial's Oboe, Marlow's Theme and the seldom heard Bass in the Ballroom. There may even be some jazz thrown in. Dave Werden will play Hejre Kati and Your Enduring Young Charms as a duet with Oystein. Expect this to be a fun concert. You do not heard Dave and Oystein together. Oystein has limited engagements in the US. You don't want to miss this concert.
It is on October 16, 2016 at 7 pm. The concert will be held in the King of Kings Church in Woodbury, MN. There are only 900 seats available, so get your tickets early to ensure you have a seat.
(We are working on a master class and lesson opportunities with Oystein, stay tuned for more information on that).

OK, the master class is coming together. It likely will be at the Concordia College music room in St. Paul from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday October 15th. I will confirm this shortly. We are booking lessons with Oystein through Schmidt Music. If you are interested, you'll have to contact them. Tickets for the concert on October 16th are for sale on line and are going briskly. More later.

I can confirm that Oystein will do a master class on Saturday, October 15th at Concordia College St. Paul music rooms from 4 to 6 pm. If you want a lesson from Oystein, those will be available through Schmidt Music on Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. The Concert is at King of Kings Church in Woodbury, MN at 7 pm on Sunday October 16th.

There was an under attended masterclass on Sat that was not to be believed. Oystein was an inspiration and font of knowledge. Some one else will have to comment on the concert.
