Out of all the trumpet players ever to play in the Canadian Brass, Ryan Anthony is my favorite. Such musicality. Ron Romm is of course pretty close

Cancer Blows will return to the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas in May of 2017 and will include many guest brass players, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and another guest ensemble or two (which shall remain a surprise). Keep an eye on Ryan's website for details and ticket information later this year after the Cleveland event is finished. It will be similar BUT NOT IDENTICAL to Cancer Blows 2015 in Dallas...if you loved that, make plans to be at the 2017 edition.58mark wrote: I consider myself blessed that I got to see the first cancer blows concert in person, and hate that I can't make it this year.
As for everything said about Ryan by Joe and others...I absolutely agree. I am blessed to work with him on a daily basis and produced the CB with DSO concert when Ryan played Penny Lane (read: I was there) and worked closely with him on the Cancer Blows concept. Please support the project if you're so inclined.
