Dr. Gary Bird will be performing Greg Fritze's Concertino for Tuba and Orchestra with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra on Saturday April 9 at 7:30pm. Also on the program is Ravel's La Valse, DeBussy's La Mer, and a Bizet piece. It'd be great to have some tuba fans in attendance. Concert is at the Pascarelli Performing Arts Center on the campus of University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Should be good: great piece, good program.
