Anyone want to hear for themselves the sound of one of those Fafner tubas? I just got this notice from Gerhard Meinl. " Bamberg Symphony is
playing in New York next week with Heiko Triebener , also Melton Tuba
Quartett is playing it, with Mahler 10. The real thing !" I wish I were going to be around to hear Heiko and his tuba. Mike Bunn special ordered one of the hand built Fafners and got it with an optional gold brass, nickel silver rim, hand engraved bell. What a nice horn that is!
