Greetings, all.
If any of you are in St. Paul, MN on Sunday April 30th, 2017, you may be interested in this event - http://www.lexhamarts.org/band/BandWidth/BandWidth.htm From 12:30 pm until 5:30 pm or so, six different MN Community Bands will be performing a variety of music, and will be featuring new works by five different composers. We'll be in the Landmark Center, and it's a fantastic hall in which to play! I'll be on my old Holton BAT with the Lakes Area Community Concert Band ( http://www.lakesareaband.com/ ), and the pretty brunette on clarinet will be my wife. If you attend, please stick around and swap greetings.
Hope to see a couple of you there.
Tim

Cool! Will see if I can make it. I'll have my (nearly) 2 year old son with me that day (mom works on Sundays!), so he calls the shots.

Here's a photo from the website. Yeah, someone snapped a pic of my tuba-playing mug, but don't let that stop you from coming to the event. http://www.lexhamarts.org/band/BandWidt ... th2016.htm

>bump!< This event is this upcoming weekend, in St. Paul, MN. Easy to find, right near the Ordway. Fine concert band music all afternoon, including the Lakes Area Community Concert Band from Detroit Lakes (the band my mrs. and I play with), at 3 pm. The Landmark Center's lofty atrium is a wonderful performance site!
