Thanks! I checked Facebook just before I left the house last Monday and the update there saved my bacon.

How tough is it to park there?

I couldn't answer the parking question until now. It is open parking on the streets around the church. I had no trouble getting a spot.

The program had recent works, and recently borrowed or arranged music. It was as much a "new music" recital as a tuba program. I was very impressed by the attention paid to expanding the available music.

Mr. Pokorny is the friendliest and most polite performer I can recall. He allowed that he was feeling poorly yet still played wonderfully. A large wooden pew in front of me vibrated against my leg, several rows back, during the climax of one piece. I didn't know that was possible.

I am now inspired to play and to compose.
