Play test the new EASTMAN EBC-836 6/4 CC Prototypes

Post by Matt Walters »

Eastman Music Company is bringing two (maybe 3) prototype EBC-836 6/4 size CC tubas to Dillon Music on Friday August 18th, 2017 for anyone and everyone to try. This is an all-day event going from 10:01 AM until 4:30 PM. Ryan Richman from Eastman will be here to answer questions and listen to feedback before they go into production.
Dillon Music already has 12 of these tubas on order with Eastman Music. They will be available in lacquer ($12,500 is the retail price), silver ($13,500 is the retail price), and I have also special ordered two of them in raw brass that will sell for the lacquer price. We don’t expect to see any before February 2018 so I’m not going to discuss final selling prices until we get closer to receiving the horns. Two lacquer tubas and one silver tuba have already been spoken for.
Please come by Friday the 18th and check out what might be your next tuba. Dillon Music is at 325 Fulton Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
