If you're in the "Michiana" area, you can snag Oystein for Friday the 27th.

Here's his schedule. I reached out, thinking he could come play in Grand Rapids, but the date won't work for me nor the tuba prof at GVSU. So I'm sharing it here.

24. Western Michigan University - master classes
25. Western Michigan University - Recital

26. Valparaiso University Center for the Arts
Valparaiso, IN 46383

28. Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago
Contact: William Russell (wm.r.russell (at) gmail (dot) com)

"Øystein is free on Fri, October 27th. Were you thinking of an evening recital? He is not traveling with an accompanist. I could ask his pianist at WMU if she/he happens to be free unless you have someone in mind. I have all music in pdf. Øystein would typically ask for $XXXX for one recital and fee for pianist and hotel but since he is close we can consider offers. (He’d be coming from Valparaiso Friday morning and heading to Chicago for a 3 pm event on Saturday.)"

Hi all,

Sorry for the bump, but this event is upon us!

Lot F is your best option for parking, followed by the garage. Also I have been advised that there is no parking enforcement on Saturdays at NEIU, so you can hang on to that $5.

See you there!
