'Tis The Season', A Prairie Christmas Concert!

The Saskatoon Concert Band Auxiliary will be presenting their winter concert 'Tis The Season' on Sunday, December 10th at 7:30 pm at Grace Westminster Church here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The program is:

"Emperata Overture" -Claude T.Smith
"Prelude for Band" -Rheinhold Gliere, arr. M.Gardner
"Three Folk Miniatures" -arr. Andre Jutras
"Christmas Day" -Gustav Holst, arr. W.E. Rhoads
Highlights from "The King and I" -Rodgers and Hammerstein, arr. C.P. Herfurth
March and Gavotte from "10 pieces for Piano, Op.12" -Prokoffiev, arr. J.Tatgenhorst
"Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" -R.Wagner, arr. L.Calliet
"Tocatta" -Girolamo Frescobaldi, arr. E.Slocum
"Chinese Folk Song Rhapsody" -Richard A.Brown
"Dixieland Festival" -A Tribute to Louis Armstrong, arr. Bernard Green
"Chicago Tribune March" -William Paris Chambers
Hopefully warm weather will bring a great concert to the first of our two concerts in the 2017-2018 season.
