Low Brass Recital, Port Washington, LI, NY 6/9/18

On June 9, 2018, the eight installment in our series of recitals called “Don Winston & Friends” will take place at 4:30 PM at the Lutheran Church of our Savior, 12 Franklin Ave, Port Washington, NY.

This promises to be our biggest and best ever. Our lineup of Special Guest Artists includes:

New York Philharmonic Associate Principal Trombone Colin Williams
New York Philharmonic Bass Trombone George Curran
Euphonium Virtuoso and Professor of Euphonium from Indiana University Demondrae Thurman
New York Freelance Trombonist and frequent performer with the NY Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera Burt Mason

Other Perfomances include:
Steinway Street Brass Brass Quintet
Low Voices, Bad Choices! Tuba Quartet with the World Premiere of “Dew Point” by Peter Meechan
Euphoniumist Jonathan Herbert
Pianists Eri Miyashita and Hanako Tanaka
Trombonist Jenna Thomas
A 10-piece Trombone Choir conducted by Jeff Ball
A massed ensemble Conducted by David Bernard will premiere the new fanfare “Magnificent” by Tom Davoren
