Stars and Shipes

Post by mshipes »

Hi Everyone,

I am writing here to share information about a new series of e-competitions I created that is starting this summer.
The Stars and Shipes 2020 Euphonium Mock-Band E-competition is happening, and is a great opportunity for euphonium players to gain some audition experience and receive feedback from world-class players and teachers.

There are three rounds of competition, and the preliminary video is due by the end of the day July 6.

Also, since this competition is completely online, anyone can participate without leaving their homes!

Please check out our website at http://www.shipesbrass.com/stars-and-shipes
You can also follow us on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/starsandshipes

Thanks to a generous donation by S.E. Shires Company and Eastman Music, our new first prize is $500!
Our second prize is $250.

Early registration is $30, and $60 if you would like to receive live video feedback from our panel of judges. After June 5, the regular fees will be $50 and $80, respectively.

Feel free to e-mail me at starsandshipes@gmail.com" target="_blank" target="_blank if you have any questions. Thank you!
