New World Symphony BEER AND BRASS!

Post by Tubaguy32478 »

Hi Tubenet!

Next Friday we are doing a fun program down here at the New World Symphony...

BEER AND BRASS!

A show where we pair brass quintet repertoire with local, craft beer. Highlights from this year's program include John Halle's "Softshoe", Lauren Bernofsky's "Suite for Brass Quintet", and a world premiere of a new quintet by Venezuelan composer Giancarlo Castro! The beer is provided by our good friends at Veza Sur Brewing in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.

This show will be streaming on April 16th at 7:30pm (however, I believe the link works for 24 hours). If you're only interested in watching the stream, tickets are $15. However, if you are located in the Miami area, you can pay $25 to not only watch the show, but receive the beer we've paired with (drink along at home!), a custom pint glass, tshirt, and tote-bag! It's a sweet deal.

Hope you can join us!

We did something like that down there once back in the day... We bought a ton of beer, I grilled up a bunch of burgers for the brass, then we built a ramp and jumped a bunch of bikes into the pool of the Plymouth 🤣🤣
