"The Healthy Tubist"

Postby LJV » Sat Feb 06, 2010 1:42 pm

On the trombone forum I visit, they now have a category called "The Healthy Trombonist." Seems like a good category with some good conversations. They include a disclaimer that none of the info should replace qualified medical care and the forum is for conversation only.

Tubist are a group that might also benifit from raised health awareness!

No one will ever accuse this place of being "high brow," that's for sure.

Drinking alcohol daily, in moderation, is good for you. I'm German-Irish. Got that covered.:)

Check out the 550 lb. dudes on THE BIGGEST LOSER in order to raise your *"self-esteem"...but only smugly (as your own 362 lb. frame is fit and petite) watch the first episode.

Hm. If we all didn't already have clean living and a healthy attitude, would we be playing tuba?

Turn off the TV, and walk away from the computer - go practice your tuba, or grab your Sousaphone and develop some marching routines. Oh engage in safe sex and get plenty of sleep.
Beginning again to be a tuba player.
