Ideas for getting more traffic on the board:
Persons asking a question like "how do I play softer/louder" etc could submit these questions as messages, to have the message be forwarded to recognized teachers whose responses would be posted as answers with commentary kept apart from the given answer.

Likewise, a good topic could be immediately locked as soon as the original question has received a worthwhile answer, prompting new threads instead of piggybacking quarrels about the semantics in the thread.

More participation from teachers or performers of repute might result, and the board might see a lot more users, more musical discourse, and content that adheres more to the topics.
