You can only delete your own posts

If no-one has replied to a post, you can delete it (there should be a button marked "x" on the top line).

If anyone has replied, you can't delete it, but you can still edit your own posts. I have seen some posts that were editted down to just a single period mark, which comes close to being deleted (you can also edit the title down to a ".") Of course, the edit option does not change any replies to post, so the thread will still exist.

If you feel there is a case for deleting the thread, you need to PM a moderator.
