Pretty simple for us users to implement, actually -- if you're selling something, put the general subcategory words you want people to find ("tuba", "euphonium", "Eb", "parts", etc.) in the Subject line of your topic, so the Advanced search can find them easily. If you're looking for something to buy, use the Advanced search to look for topics that contain the subcategory words (as above) that you're interested in. Sorta like a COBOL version of Systems Hungarian notation ...

Subcategories? Let's see:
Euphs, baritones, trombones and others of similar pitch would be a category.
Eb & F tubas, and similarly pitched cimbassi and bass bones would be the sub category.
BBb & CC tubas would be the contra sub category.
