some gremlins on the site?

There does seem to be some problems - I cannot edit my posts (I am logged in) and some images are broken. The little notes that show number of posts won't show for anybody except sponsors. I am using Mac OS Safari 4.0.1 and everything was working fine up until today. BBcode stuff is ON, but some Icons are not loading.

(even though my settings are for Flash ON, it says it is OFF.

Things work as expected using Firefox, BTW (but they did work fine on Safari up until now...)

I don't do much HTML so I have no idea what this all means, but I sure can't fix it on my end!
This was not the only thing that turned up, but it was the first.

Ah, that... no one seems to know what causes that, but it is a gremlin in your computer, not on the site. Go to your home folder, then to Library, then to Preferences, and delete com.apple.Safari.plist, and at least that problem should be done with. You may have a few surprises as far as preferences you'd previously set, but nothing too big.

Since no other site I regularly visit has problems - maybe I should try clearing my cookies on this site first?
no, wait - the buttons and smilies just came back and everything is mysteriously fixed!
