I am now getting one that says "Learn to play saxophone!"

What's next? Viola!?!? :tuba:
Mine says "find a friend in gluten free (something)". I've NEVER searched for 'gluten free' ANYTHING!

I realize you are joking and haven't ever burned any violas. Violas are fun to joke about, but violas are great instruments. I've been studying viola for some time now and love it. Here's an example of the beautiful tone from a well-played instrument. (The performer is only 18 years old!)

The targeting of individuals concerning saxophones and gluten free somethings is an indication of how deeply people are getting into data access and analysis. I leave the construction of the appropriate conspiracy theories to you (but they should definitely include the NSA and relations to the profiteering business community). I am worrying a bit that there are problems with Dan's health that he is unaware of but which have been inferred from his activity on the web. For my own part, I seem to have been heavily targeted for piano lessons -- which would not be a bad idea, but I don't have the time right now and my wife would probably want to be the teacher. And nail fungus (which I don't have -- or at least don't think I have). Luckily I already know how to play the saxophone.

Interesting! I did come back from Purdue two weeks ago with a nasty earache and sinus problem... which I did some searching about. Yesterday, my wife mentioned that one of the grandkids had a bout with an old childhood condition called 'foot & mouth' (NOT HOOF and mouth!) and I Googled that. I can see how the Webbots mis-interpret this stuff.

As I type, everything seems to be back to normal with an ad about 'American Musical Supply' on the right side.

You're ahead of me. I'm still getting the ads for piano lessons.

You think enough is enough? Just don't google something about the brass musical instrument tuba and forget and type it as an acronym instead, i.e. T.U.B.A.

I made that mistake once, thinking I was trying to find the "Tuba Universal Brotherhood Association," now known as ITEA, "International Tuba Euphonium Association" and had to have my (then) wife get my (then very young) son occupied in the other room while I cleared every pop-up that tried to download as a result... :x

(it is also the acronym for trans-umbilical breast augmentation)

This is one of the reasons Sean named his website TubeNet instead of TubaNet. :)

So, apparently the answer is an ad blocker AND disabling pop-ups (wasn't it always?).

Adaway on my Note 2 blocks all but the sponsor ads. I've tried ABP but didn't find it as effective.

I believe you may have "banner ads" confused with "the Hokey Pokey". :|
I used to be addicted to the Hokey Pokey but I turned myself around!
