I usually will go to the home page and use the "view unread posts" option.

I do both of options 2 & 3. Sometimes I click on my bookmark; sometimes I type "f" in my address bar, and it comes up with the link to the "view new posts" page as the first hit.

Regardless, I rarely click on the individual forum headings.

While a thread is active New Posts seems to be the way to go.
Forum headings are useful if you remember a thread and it's fallen off the New Post screen.

running about 75% in favor of the "view new posts" link. I actually thought it would be a little higher. Please keep the votes coming

I start with the first forum that is red. I scroll through, read all the red titles, read the ones that interest me, click "Mark topics read" and back out to the index page. I repeat this until all forums have been looked over. I tend to read much less in the Auditions and Sponsors forums (fora?). I scan titles and then click the forum as being read. Little in those two normally causes me to want to click them.

I read TubeNet first and save General Chatter and the Repair forums for last as these three are what keep me coming here. The other forums frequently will contain threads that interest me, but mostly don't.

That is how I read the site.

The end.

I stick to 3 sections lately. TubeNet, General Chatter and Feedback. The other sections don't interest me much any more. I'm not selling anything, I don't want to buy anything, and I've lost interest in the media section ever since Doc Pugh left the board. I'm not interested in playing opportunities elsewhere and I'm not good enough to seek a job playing anything anywhere, unless they want a really bad tuba player.

When I open one of the 3 sections I browse, I look for new posts that might interest me or I'll respond to new post notifications I receive for threads I'm active in. I seldom have to use the search feature.

Very interesting. I have color issues and have problems discerning blue from red from green etc. and didn't realize, until now, that the bullets to the left of the forums are red or blue. To me they look almost the same. When I look closely I see the differences but for me it will always be easier to go to unread posts first.

I use the "Jump To" dropdown menu at the bottom right-hand side of the page. I just open up whatever page I was on last, scan through the threads, then jump to the next forum. I rarely look through the auditions or media forum. I will visit the others most every day, mostly waiting for an update on Wade's 345 project  .

This, although for me it's the Tubenet, Sponsors, and For Sale. I peruse the other less frequently.

I guess the survey information must probably have been put to whatever its intended use by now, but ... obviously, I don't get to this forum in the normal course of events. The several I do look into, I reach separately, typically by typing something into the browser address field and selecting from history, effectively, like a bookmark, and/or edit the forum number in the current URL.
