I usually will go to the home page and use the "view unread posts" option.

I do both of options 2 & 3. Sometimes I click on my bookmark; sometimes I type "f" in my address bar, and it comes up with the link to the "view new posts" page as the first hit.

Regardless, I rarely click on the individual forum headings.

While a thread is active New Posts seems to be the way to go.
Forum headings are useful if you remember a thread and it's fallen off the New Post screen.

I use the "Jump To" dropdown menu at the bottom right-hand side of the page. I just open up whatever page I was on last, scan through the threads, then jump to the next forum. I rarely look through the auditions or media forum. I will visit the others most every day, mostly waiting for an update on Wade's 345 project  .

I guess the survey information must probably have been put to whatever its intended use by now, but ... obviously, I don't get to this forum in the normal course of events. The several I do look into, I reach separately, typically by typing something into the browser address field and selecting from history, effectively, like a bookmark, and/or edit the forum number in the current URL.
