Thread Deletion?

Postby the elephant » Mon Oct 08, 2018 10:49 am

I shared some photos last night in the Repair forum. The thread was deleted before I made it to bed. What did I do to earn that?

I posted a thread entitled "How Stupid am I Really?" with a story about a great discovery I made that was also embarrassing. I posted photos, and added some photos (six total) showing other work on the same project. I posted this sometime around 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening. I had to upload the photos to my hosting service, then type in all the links. It was one of my usual long posts for that forum. It went live as I went back and edited some text. That also went live. Later last night/this morning (around 1:00) I went back to see whether anyone had responded. The thread had disappeared.

I thought I had pissed someone off again. ;-)

I have decided that this horn merits a full-blown restoration thread, so I would have had to start over, anyway, so it is no biggie. I was just concerned that I was in the dog house. The thread was innocuous enough, so I could not fathom why this would be.
