Prices required for trades?

Postby bort » Wed Feb 27, 2019 3:51 pm

There was a post here earlier which has since been deleted...

But am I correct in remembering that a price was required when proposing a trade?

I never would have thought that was a requirement. Aren't trades about looking for two people who want each other's stuff? That's up to them to do their homework and decide if it's an even trade.

In those cases, I just assume the price is $100 billion, but open to consider offers. :P

Yes we ask that somebody gives an approximate dollar value that they are looking to receive in trade. It doesn't have to be in cash but at least in approximate value

At the very least the ad at least needs to State what kind of instrument the person is looking for in return. The ad was far to open and vague and wasn't even listed by the person who owns the horn
