New Wessex Tubas USA website

Post by Wyvern »

I am pleased to say we now have a dedicated website for Wessex Tubas LLC of Michigan showing the range with US$ prices.

http://www.Wessex-Tubas.com

Have a look and you will find a few models not available elsewhere. Almost by the week, more will be added as the American distribution center gets established.

We are planning to exhibit around the USA - Andy Loree and I look forward to meeting more Tubeneters.

For anyone in the UK/Europe asking why the prices are lower in the states - it is because of lower taxes (no 20% VAT, high import duty and corporation tax), lower costs (for example storage facility in Michigan costs only a third of in England) and high competition means margins are minimal.

The main reason I started the Michigan center is to make the development of Wessex exclusive new model tubas economically viable with bigger market to sell. Of those we have exciting plans of which you will hear more later...

Australasian and South American buyers can also benefit from the US prices - we are happy to ship from Michigan international to anywhere outside Europe.

Stock is due to start arriving at the Michigan distribution center from September, but we are taking orders now. Enquiries and orders to Sales@Wessex-Tubas.com" target="_blank

We look forward to supplying more students and experienced musicians with nice playing, but reasonably priced tubas, euphoniums and trombones. Remember we will not sell anything Andy, or I would not be happy playing ourselves for a gig, so you can be sure of a good one when buying from Wessex Tubas!

All the best,
Jonathan Hodgetts
