GIARDINELLI (Matt says) TUBA MOUTHPIECE SCREW-SHANKS

Postby bloke » Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:48 am

I have no idea who made these.
They feature stamped numbers such as 2,3,4,6...and no number

Their back-bores vary, the threads seem to be a bit coarse, they seem to be well-made, and they mostly seem to be either euro-ish or standard-ish shank size.

If you know what these are - and are interested in them - surely (??) the ENTIRE batch is worth $50 plus postage to you. Otherwise, they're going in my scrap brass 5-gallon bucket.

There are no duplicate pictures. The total quantity is the same as seen in the picture.

That looks like.....Giardinelli. I have a 3 piece Giardinelli F-21 that I put a large Alexander shank onto so that I can test those Kaiser shank horns when needed. Our Vladimir and Greg Black have continued to use that threading on tuba screw shanks.

If someone doesn't buy these soon, there won't be Christmas stamps, this year, for 90 folks' bloke-y xmas cards.

If you're willing to deprive 90 people of that annual joy...why, you're just plain mean. :(
