New Stuff at Beautidel--

Post by Sean Greene »

Hi all,
We have a new piece for tuba and strings from Barton Cummings, a revised edition of Toby Shucha's American Spirituals for the Young Tuba Ensemble and some great work for multiple tubas from Mike Mitmoen.

If you weren't able to check them out in Denver this summer, here are some great titles we offer that AREN'T written by yours truly:

Wild Flower for solo tuba, sax quartet, vibes bass & drums by Barton Cummings. Written for Sergio Carolino, this is a highly virtuosic and fun piece. Includes improvisation.

O Mio Babbino Caro for tuba quartet, arranged by Julie Wilder. Julie is a budding young arranger in Lawrence, Kansas. This is a good chart!

Danse Bacchanale for brass quintet, arranged by Julie Wilder. This is a great arragement. The opening oboe cadenza is given to the tuba!!!

Two Classic Melodies for Two Euphoniums & Piano, arranged by Grant Harville. If you're looking for some truly beautiful melodies to showcase the gorgeous sound of the euphonium, here it is. Grant is the tuba-euphonium teacher at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and is a wonderful composer and arranger.

Meditation from Thais arranged for tuba and piano by Michael Anderson. This version is in a key for CC tuba and works great!!!

Fur Elise arranged for tuba-euphonium quartet by Griffin James. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. This arrangement gives the advanced quartet a chance to show their expressive side.

As always, we have my jazz duets for tubas, the 8va versions for other bass clef instruments and a volume of trios & quartets for younger groups.

For those of you who have placed orders, thanks a million-
Happy Holidays!!
