New brass ensemble releases from Boulder Brass Publications

Post by miketuba »

Good morning all,

Just finished up this week:

Pictures at an Exhibition (423.11 2 perc) - as recorded by the Burning River Brass on their 'Russian Carnival' CD.

First Elizabethan Suite (423.11, opt perc) - 4 pieces by William Byrd from the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book - this suite was recorded by the Boulder Brass on our Dorian records CD 'Bolder Baroque.' The 4 pieces have been previously released individually - now arranged in a set (and for less $ than buying them individually) - Earle of Oxford's Marche; Wolsey's Wilde; Callino Casturame; The Bells

Second Elizabethan Suite (423.11, opt perc) - 4 more pieces by William Byrd from the FWVB - La Volta; Jhon, Come Kisse Me Now; A Gigg; Mayden's Song. These titles are also available seperately

Giles Farnaby Suite (423.11, opt perc) 6 pieces from the FWVB all previously released as single titles, now available as a suite. Mal Sime; Olde Spagnoletta; His Humour; His Dream; Tell Me Daphne; A Toye

Samuel Scheidt - Galliard Battaglia (423.11) - arranged for antiphonal choirs.
John Philip Sousa - Rifle Regiment March (423.11 perc)
Scott Joplin - Wall Street Rag (423.11 perc)
Scott Joplin - Elite Syncoptions (423.11 perc)

Visit http://www.boulderbrass.org for more details.

Boulder Brass Publications are all 'road tested' for accuracy, professionally engraved using Finale's Jazz font, and printed on a high quality laser mopier on 70 pound ivory paper stock.

All titles are also available as PDF files with a small discount. We can provide an MP3 recording of many titles with more to come...

Cheers,
Michael Allen
