We are proud to have just supplied Birmingham Music Service with five new tuba for their senior brass band and one for their symphony orchestra. Wessex Tubas was chosen purely on how well they play as the music service had already set aside enough funds to buy more expensive German-made tubas - all the instruments in the senior brass band are top of the range.
Both the brass tutors and students were delighted with their new tubas which include three compensated EEb, two rotary BBb (which they found better than the traditional compensated BBb) and a CC for the symphony orchestra (maybe the first CC tuba ever bought by a schools' music service in the UK?)
Birmingham Music Service prefers Wessex!
