The New CD from Ian Foster - From Handel to Valhalla

Post by Wyvern »

The new CD from Ian Foster entirely playing Wessex Tubas will shortly be released. We are now taking pre-orders.

You can order on-line at http://www.wessex-tubas.co.uk/cds

The CD will be available from our Michigan distribution center and any orders from USA customers will be despatched from there (rather than the UK)

Having been at some recording sessions and heard excerpts, this CD is really exceptional for both Ian's playing and the recording quality! Contents are (except where listed played on Wessex EEb tuba);

Handel Oboe Sonata in C Minor
Strauss Horn Concerto No.1
Arnold Fantasy for Tuba
Hartley Suite for Unaccompanied Tuba
Watson Sonatina for Tuba and Piano
Morricone Gabriel's Oboe (includes Bubbie tuba)
Stockhausen Tuba Solo from Orchestra Finalists
Wagner Low Brass Excerpts from The Ring (including full trombone section) - recorded using Wessex CC tuba
