MACK Gets the Exclusive on the Wisemann 900 5/4 CC, W/ Video

Post by MackBrass »

After a few weeks of negotiations with the Wisemann factory we have worked out an exclusive on the Wisemann 5/4 model 4 piston 1 rotor model 900 CC. As of right now I will be the only dealer allowed to carry this new great horn in the US.

I fought to get this because after a few weeks of playing on it I feel it is one of the best 5/4 CC tubas on the market today. Yes we know where the design came from and I can tell you it is every bit as good as the original. This is no hype as I have owned the PT6P in the past and can make a unbiased comparison. The craftsmanship is second to none with great intonation and is very consistent to play from top to bottom. This is the first real 5/4 CC made in china that can compete with anything else on the market in its class.

There is only one change I have advised the factory to make and its making the inner tubes on the 1st and 4th valve tuning slides longer which should be available in this first shipment. this is the same issue that the PT6P has with short inner tubes.

I back up my claims with a 100% money back policy and if its not everything I say I will even play the shipping on the way back.

Pricing: yes this is more expensive the other horns made in China but it is well worth it as this is not a 2 or 3 thousand dollar horn. For now I am running a special on the first batch in Lacquer for 4995.00 and 5395.00 in silver. Although there has been talk about where this horn should be priced, the cost is signifigantly higher than anything else made in China due to the attention of detail, finish and craftsmanship, plus this is a lot more tuba than anything else made in China today. Also there has been talk about buying a used for for almost the same cost, I have never seen a used PT6P go for anything less than 8- 9 thousand so at the 5k mark this is truley a great value.

Anyone interested in being the first to get one of these horns feel free to contact me anytime. Any pros out their looking to be a sponsor call me for a very special deal as I think this will be the first horn made in China in the right hands to win a national audition.

First shipment is scheduled to arrive in December with limited availability.

This is a video of me playing it after only a few days on it in our new warehouse facility.
