This plays even better than the previous 4-valve with darker and fuller tone through some pipe re-routing. It is also enhanced with uni-direction rotary valves and engraved valve caps. It is a beauty! Price is $2,200 lacquer, $2,500 silver-plated in USA or £2,000 lacquer, or £2,250 silver-plated in UK (including VAT).
The prototype was tried by a Vienna professional earlier this year, who loved this so much he would be more than happy to play in the opera house. In fact he loved so much I had a job to part him from it!
