For Sale - Yamaha YCB 861 5/4 CC tuba, serial number 100009, with like-new gig bag.

An extremely nice example of a fairly rare professional CC tuba, this one is for sale by the original owner. The instrument has a lot of nickel-silver, including leadpipe, inner- and outer slide tubes, massive thumb ring, solid nickel-silver valve casings and back bearing plates, and Alexander-style one-piece nickel-silver braces. With a .810" bore, 17 3/4" bell, standing 39 1/2" tall, this instrument is an obvious tribute to the Alexander 163, but with point-and-shoot intonation. There is very little lacquer wear, and mechanically it is still basically like-new.
