Wessex Tubas will shortly be setting off for ITEC and the horns we will be exhibiting include;
New 5/4 CC Wyvern
New Rotary valve CC Anton
New Front bell tornister tuba
New Front piston Eb Gnagey
New Festivo front action compensated euphonium
New Danube rotary Eb tuba
New Bubbie 5 F travel tuba
Rotary BBb Luzern (handmade gold brass example)
BBb Mighty Midget tornister
CC Mighty Gnome tornister
Dolce Euphonium
F tuba Berg
That is four new models of tuba/euphonium on show in the USA for the very first time!
Also Tubalate will be playing Wessex euphoniums and tubas (except Les Neish as Besson artiste) in the opening concert on Monday evening.
As well as Andy Loree and myself, Jonathan Hodgetts on the Wessex booth - you can visit and meet John Powell, Ryan Breen and Paul Walton of Tubalate and Wessex artiste from California, Jess Tucker - and get their professional feedback on the horns.
Hope to meet a number of Tubenetters at ITEC...

Re: Wessex Tubas at ITEC
Jonathan, you posted back in February:
Would you please share the dimensions of the horn? Perhaps a set of photos?
I'd ask about a video but the miking and room acoustics are always in question.
Yet you list this new CC in this thread as a 6/4 tuba.If a Miraphone 1291 or Meinl-Weston 2000 are 5/4 as both companies designate, then the Wyvern is 5/4, as it is of similar size.
Would you please share the dimensions of the horn? Perhaps a set of photos?
I'd ask about a video but the miking and room acoustics are always in question.
