These heavy weight caps are available exclusively through Buckeye Brass & Winds. They weigh 0.15 lbs each, and can be used to add weight at the node point which passes through the valve block to help improve response and center pitch. One client using one of these caps on his 3rd notices a significant difference on his Conn 52J in the 5th partial. Without the cap, 5th partial has difficulty centering. With the cap, 5th partial is more dialed in and much easier to center.
