John Packer JP379BB 4th slide loop length

This is the looks-like/plays-like/built-as-well-as a gold-brass M-W 25 tuba...

In the past, those that we received here were just like the M-W 25...
The 4th valve loop was just ~barely~ long enough.

This seems to have been improved, whereby the length (unlike most all M-W 25 tubas that have been though our shop) of the 4th valve loop is slightly longer, which makes things a bit easier to deal with.

It's still plenty short enough to tune F and C "spot-on", but - if one chooses to do so - there's additional room (via the unavoidable math involved with 4-valve tubas) to "split the difference" between the F-C intonation and the E-B intonation, if a passage (as an example) is too quick to allow for 4th slide adjustment.

Just as a reminder, the wrap of this valveset easily allows for on-the-fly 4th slide adjustment.
