John Packer instruments to Army Tuba Conference

Postby bloke » Tue Jan 23, 2018 12:42 pm

Here is the list of instruments that I'm hoping to display.
My space will be limited, and I may (??) not even be able to display them all at the same time.
If you specifically really need to see other JP low brass instruments beyond those listed below,
let me know and I'll see what I can manage:

(I prefer to show most of these instruments in LACQUERED BRASS versions, to avoid fingerprinting and to avoid tedious blokleenup™ (with silver polishing cloths).

JP333 - "RATH"-design double rotor bass trombone (gold brass)
JP373 - compensating (English) baritone horn (STERLING series)
JP274 - 3+1 compensating euphonium
JP374LT - 3+1 compensating euphonium with trigger (STERLING series)
JP377 - 3+1 compensating Eb tuba (STERLING series)
JP179 - LARGE BORE 4-piston FRONT-action 3/4-size BBb tuba
JP379B - "Piggy"-style gold-brass 4/4-size 4-rotor .768" bore BBb tuba
JP379BB - 5/4-size 4-rotor .768" bore gold brass BBb tuba (STERLING series)
JP379FF - large bore 5-rotor F tuba in gold brass (STERLING series)
JP379CC - 4/4-size 4+1 piston CC tuba (STERLING series)

Of course, I'll be displaying the complete line of Sellmansberger Tuba Mouthpieces

 I'll also (if not sold PRE-conference) have an astonishing Sellmansberger-built satin-silver J.W. York & Sons 4+1 Eb, and a Yamaha YEB-381S (4+1) Eb yet with the 5th valve loop CORRECTED to the proper length (by me). I'll show pictures of both of those in other threads.
