JP333 RATH model two rotor bass trombone (TMEA) available

Postby bloke » Sat Feb 17, 2018 10:54 am

These have been selling faster than the warehouse can be restocked with them...so I snagged the (new) one, which has only been to TMEA (i.e. has not been to a bunch of shows), so I can offer it for sale.

If you speak up quickly enough, it can be shipped directly to you, rather than heading to me first and then on to you.

I don't advertise below-M.A.P. pricing.
If you're interested, send me a note, and I'll shoot you the price.

The price is LOW, but please don't expect the pricing to be a low as Jb stuff.

I didn't play this one because I already own one, but I did hear from someone that played it that said he "Hates me for owning it" I guess that means he loved it.

I played several basses at TMEA, some were worse, some were equal, but the equal ones were over double the cost.

I played it and was very impressed! I have a very high end bass about three times the price and this is easily a close second.

Thanks very much for the publicly-posted positive feedback.

I offer these things (with which most will probably agree)...

- The JP333 is probably about as good as any $5000 "production" bass trombone.
- If it isn't someone's first choice (among "production" bass trombones), it's only a matter of personal taste, and not-at-all a matter of quality.
- The JP333 pricing is half (or, depending on dealer, maybe a good bit less).

Joe, is there enough tubing in the second branch to allow Bb/F/Gb/D. Or, can one only get Bb/F/G/Eb?
