These parts are not prohibitively expensive from Yamaha. I had to replace several of these for a local middle school, although I don't remember if they came lacquered or not.

There was a Yamaha 103 on the auction site without valves or leadpipe with a buy it now price just under $200 (plus shipping). I think it's still there.
