chatter re: replacements for no-longer-available mouthpieces

Postby bloke » Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:56 am

There seems to be a lot of chatter, regarding a particular style of tuba mouthpiece which - for the time being, anyway - is no longer available from the former most popular manufacturer of this particular style.

 These will be available SOON...not stocked YET.
 Pricing of the "John Packer II" tuba mouthpiece has YET to be determined...but surely fractional, compared to similar models.
 Quality (per typical JP quality) is going to be top notch.

Watch this thread, and - when they're here - we'll be delighted to accept orders.
Let's NOT do any "pre-ordering". That avoids a bunch of "are they here yet?" non-productive emailing and non-productive messaging.
When they ARE in stock and priced - and if you are a fan of the Helleberg II-style mouthpiece cups/rims, buy one for your tuba, and an emergency spare for each vehicle's glove box. 8)

probably standard. I'll let everyone know when one is in my hands.

There will likely be yet another mouthpiece announcement soon.
