Black Dyke, Brighouse, Grimethorpe, YBS and others are about to fight it out for the places in the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall in October, in St. Georges Hall, Bradford starting at 17.30 UK time.

Glad to see YBS qualify for the Nationals too...and how 'bout Rothwell....that's a bit of a surprise...which is good for badning if you ask me.

Does that mean that the top 6 on the list are qualified? It'd be a shame to see Brighouse left out.

No, Grimethorpe/Dyke go through, then the next 2, YBS & Rothwell.

BTW, Rothwell have been in the top frame in that contest for a number of years now.

This weekend, in addition to the Scottish & Midland rounds, it's the turn of the North West and the big three fighting it out are Fodens, Fairey and the current National Champions Leyland;
