LOUD euphonium mouthpieces

Post by Alex F »

Has anyone tried any of the three Loud euph mouthpieces? LM-27, LM-25, or LM-20? If so, your comments are appreciated. Please state what model euph these are used on?

Thanks.

I have tried all three that you mentioned on my Sterling. I bought the 25. It fit me best and the playing that I do (band work, some solos at church, high quartet parts). I felt that the 27 was not large enough for my needs and the 20 was too "funnel" shaped for me. I also bought a 35 (bass trombone) mouthpiece for use in the Euphoniums Unlimited group that R. Winston Morris put together for the 7th and 8th parts (never make it all the way UP to bass clef) for some facility in the lowest register. Bloke's advice is correct... Joe will let you know what his mouthpieces can do for you.
