Boxborough MA TubaFest

Post by OldBandsman »

Earlier this year I ran across a notice for some sort of tuba festival in Boxborough, MA about June 10.

Now I can't seem to google up any other information.

If someone knows about this event, is it on? off? what's it about? I'd appreciate a note.

Thanks,
John

I don't know Massachusetts geography that well but this is all I could find in the Bay State for that time of the year:

Today is the last day to apply.

Bill....

Thanks, I knew about Milnarik's thing. I remember what I originally saw of Boxborough was that it is a much more informal gathering. It may have fallen apart. Milnariks thing fell apart last year.

Thanks for you efforts.

I was wondering. It seems a bit regimented with its schedule and all. Most tuba events like this that I have attended include time to relax and have fun. I can see how it might fall apart.

Thanks Bryan.... That's a new one for me, but I don't think it quite matches what I had seen for Boxborough. I'm beginning to think the Boxborough event may have folded.
