Stravinsky's Petrushka = Awesome solo.

and if you're in a cool enough orchestra, you can make every piece a tuba solo. 8)

Are you talking about a CONCERTO or just a solo in an orchestra piece (ie not a concerto, where the tuba player would sit in front of the orchestra).

There's a big tuba SOLO in American In Paris.
