They used to play that Martin Mull track at a favorite watering hole of mine 20 years ago. After a few beers, it sounds just fine!

I don't know about copyright issues- but it you can find copy for which this is legal: download midi that has teh two parts recorded on sepeerate tracks and then transpose and print the two tracks. 10 minutes' time if you are good with the software and lucky finding the midi file!

The melody which the song played in Deliverance was based upon was an Appalachian banjo rift that dates back to the 1800's. I was told that by a prof. who I trust more than any internet source. Sound like that guy ("composer") just took something out in the public realm and slapped a copyright on it anyways.

So I guess arrange/compose at your own risk. But whose gonna know anyways?

If you have Finale, you can download a midi of it and open it as sheet music in Finale. Then just adjust the music to fit the tuba.

The thing that Martin Mull did was called Dueling Tubas but it was really a tuba and a trombone.
