Need a copy of the Lord's Prayer

Post by hnoyes »

Hi all.

I have just been asked to play at a family members memorial this Sunday (in two days) My family has requested I play the Lord's Prayer, but I do not have music. Since this request came at around 11pm this evening, I am resorting to asking here if anyone has a copy they could email or fax to our hotel.

I hate asking due to the copyright legality - I will happily order a copy Monday morning, and given the situation I hope someone can help me.

Thanks.

Try here:

http://www.sheetmusicdirect.com

You can download a and print a version. And it is all legal!

Searh "Lord's Prayer" and then pick the key you would like it in!

Good luck and my condolences to your family,

I have both sung and played the Mallotte rendition at occasions for almost 30 years, and it's one of those pieces that should be in your permanent repertoire.

Even though it was written in 1935, I understand that the Albert Hay Malotte version of the Lord's Prayer is still under copyright. I am glad the first reply decided to use the sheet music site that charges for such downloads. Music prices go up when people try to get it for free.
