John Tuinstra - Vaughan Williams with WCO

Post by David Spies »

John Tuinstra, Tubist with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, will be a featured soloist with the orchestra during their second "Concert on the Square" of the 2006 summer season.

Dr. Tuinstra will be performing the second and third movements of the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto. Also performing on the concert is Linda Kimball, Principal Horn (Mozart 2nd Horn Concerto). The concert will culminate with the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky. Admission is free, but prime seating (lawn blankets) is often snapped up around 3 p.m.

This concert is well worth attending! Bring a picnic lunch, a favorite beverage, and some pillows and a lawn blanket to enjoy this performance to its fullest!
