ok so there are about 3 million different arrangements of czardas out there. i was just wondering which one the tubenetters preferred.

Pat Sheridan's is pretty good

Man, I drove about 2 hours from UCA to HSU just to hear him play and man did he play. After his main performance he did his encore which was about 2-3 songs and Czardas was the first I believe and man did he play the crap out of it. I think he just took the original version for violin and just transposed it. I really think he should be checked into a hospital because he is sick when he picks up the tuba.

I recommend either Pat's or Baadsvik's versions, both set well.

Hilgers' sits well on an F. I haven't played it with a piano yet, but so far I like it.

The original violin part sits absolutely perfectly on CC. I've performed it a couple times and if your multiphonics are up to snuff the double stops are darn near possible... I fooled around with it in the practice room but I couldn't bring myself to try it in front of a full violin section.

Yeah, I like Sheridan's as well. It's the one I use.
