I have searched the old tubenet but have been unable to find any lists from previous auditions. Could someone be so kind as to let me know what was on say the last Marine Band audition? If you have other top 10 military audition tunes I would love to hear them. Thanks,
Arnold

E-mail the US Marine Band and they will send you what you need. Looks like they took down their previous site that I had bookmarked.Jason Arnold wrote:I have searched the old tubenet but have been unable to find any lists from previous auditions. I saw the Marines in Hawaii a few weeks ago. They were excellent, of course. I came in late, but they had an electric string bass player and a sousa lying on the ground near him. Doubling must be a good thing.

Re: Military Audition Repertoire
Most likely that wasn't the Presidents Own, that was most likely the Marine Forces Pacific Band. Which I used to be a part of. To be a Marine in a Fleet band it's not necessary for you to double on bass. I believe as well that you're not required to double for the President's Own.Dean E wrote:E-mail the US Marine Band and they will send you what you need.
